Communities across Canada release Vital Signs reports next week

Vital Signs week is just around the corner! Thirty-two communities across Canada are participating in this year’s Vital Signs program, culminating with the launch of community reports next week from October 2-8.

Community foundations use Vital Signs to build community knowledge, set their strategic priorities, inform grant-making and engage local leaders in conversation about opportunities for collective action.

National Vital Signs report on belonging and social participation

To kick off Vital Signs week starting October 2, Community Foundations of Canada will release our national Vital Signs report looking at the many ways that belonging and social participation influence each other.

Drawing on a wealth of community knowledge, the publication explores five pathways to participation and belonging, including the arts, sport, faith, activism and online. Look out for our national report which will be live on the Vital Signs website Sunday.

Use the hashtags #VitalSigns and #VSBelonging to join the conversation.
