Philanthropy and First Nations
The following is a webinar hosted by Blumbergs.
The needs and opportunities for stronger connections between Canada’s Philanthropic sector and Indigenous communities are enormous. Qualified donee status under the Income Tax Act for First Nations communities is the key to strengthening these connections. Richard Bridge will provide an overview of qualified donee status and an update of the First Nations and Philanthropy project he is working on with Mi’kmaq and Maliseet communities in Atlantic Canada.
