Two-day intensive impact investing workshop

Wasan Island, Ontario | Muskoka Lakes | P0B 1J0

Six months after the release of the Impact Investing Guidebook we are inviting members of the philanthropic community to dive deep, hear from experts, follow structured priority and strategy setting processes and exchange with peers in the serene lakeside surroundings of Wasan Island.

From Sept. 17–19 2018, Community Foundations of Canada and Purpose Capital will be hosting and facilitating an intensive workshop designed to support foundations of all types to seed and advance their impact investing practice.

This will be a participatory, hands-on learning workshop with two or three senior staff and board members designed to accelerate learning and action around your impact investing work. We are strongly recommending senior staff and board participation.

Cost: $1,500 for two people from one foundation, $2,000 for three people from one foundation. This includes facilitation, accommodations, meals on the island, materials and late-summer dockside drinks.

Location: Wasan Island (1.5 hours drive north of Toronto Pearson Airport). Attendees must make their own way to Port Carling, Ontario to be picked up by boat.

Dates: Late afternoon on Sept 17. to after lunch on Sept. 19
