Community Foundations of Canada works closely with our network of 191 community foundations to support their growth and operations. We offer leadership development opportunities and personalized support for community foundation staff and volunteers on everything from fund development to philanthropic trends to impact investing. We share practical tools, publications and resources to help community leaders adapt and respond to the changing world around them. And we bring leaders together from across Canada for specialised training, networking and learning designed specifically for community foundations to respond to local priorities.
Opportunities for Community Foundations
Creating opportunities for greater impact has always been one of our guiding principles. As the philanthropic and charitable landscape evolves, our pan-Canadian network is focused on the future. From national programs such as Vital Signs and Smart & Caring Communities to innovative projects and partnership opportunities to historic moments like Canada’s 150th in 2017 – there are endless ways for community foundations to get involved, learn from one another and build an aspirational vision of what’s next for our communities and our country
