Pre-conference Master Class and Site Visit registrations open

The countdown to #Belong2017 is on!

Today we’re excited to share that registration is open for Master Classes, Site Visits and Experience Ottawa Tours taking place as part of our pre-conference program on the morning of May 11th.

Master Classes offer participants a deeper dive into important areas of community foundation work and will focus on topics including: trends in family philanthropy, Vital Signs and the SDGs, leadership for Board Chairs and Vice-Chairs, engaging in the process of Reconciliation, and making the financial ask.

If you would rather be out exploring the city, our pre-conference Site Visits and Experience Ottawa Tours will give attendees an opportunity to tour a variety of locations unique to the community of Ottawa. Meet with local charities and social enterprises or experience some of the city’s most well-known landmarks.

We’re also putting the final touches on the full program and schedule for the 2017 Community Foundations Conference. It`s shaping up to be one of our best lineups yet with sessions on everything from design thinking to multicultural marketing to cross-sector collaboration. There’s even an in-depth focus through the CKX PhilanthroLAB to re-imagine community philanthropy and how to build the community foundation of the future from the inside out.

We’ll be sharing the full program in the next two weeks, including more details about how to download the conference app and start to connect with participants ahead of the event.

Remember, early bird registration closes March 31 so be sure to take advantage of individual and group rate savings using the promo codes available on the registration page.
