About Vida Loose

With experience in social impact consulting, user experience design, and research, Vida approaches her work with a systems-thinking mindset and a deep commitment to equity and human-centered change.

She has contributed to organizations like Nourish Leadership through Propel Impact, helping to scale culturally meaningful food-health initiatives, and led digital design projects with GivePulse and Minivillage to strengthen civic engagement and connection. Vida also brings research experience from BC Children’s Hospital, where she supported studies on childhood nutrition and cognitive development.

Vida holds a BSc in Cognitive Systems, Brain and Cognition from the University of British Columbia and a diploma in User Experience Design from BrainStation. A passionate community builder, she has worked to make the outdoors more accessible through All Access Adventures, supported inclusive programming with UBC’s Varsity Outdoor Club, and advocated for land preservation with the Save San Marcos Foothills campaign.

Curious and collaborative by nature, Vida loves organizing potlucks, running forested trails, climbing mountains, and finding creative ways to be in community with others.
