In this 30 minute ‘Lightning Talk’ we will hear stories and perspectives from leaders in the Black community of how COVID-19 is impacting Black Canadians. We will hear from:

• Agapi Gessesse, Executive Director of Careers Education Empowerment Centre for Young Black Professionals 
• Evelynl Myrie, President, Afro Canadian Caribbean Association of Hamilton and District 
• Amanuel Melles, Director, Network for the Advancement of Black Communities (NABC)

This session will be followed with a Q&A and will be offered with simultaneous translation.
