We explored the challenges faced by communities of different sizes and discussed how to create engaging, inclusive, and age-friendly public spaces during the winter season. We shared tools that community change-makers are using right now to embrace winter placemaking in existing public spaces, including 880 Cities’ free Winter Placemaking Guide and their Winter Cities Toolkit. Facilitated by Jiya Benni and Jayne Armstrong from 880 Cities, along with guests from some inspiring CHCI projects, this is the second session in a winter series to help you discover the many creative ways communities are getting people outside and moving around all winter!
