This webinar is for community foundations participating in Vital Signs that have signed up for their own data platform this year. This is the second of three training workshops to onboard community foundations onto their platform.

This portion of the training will provide geography and Indicator training, which will provide users with all the skills necessary to create and visualize a variety of indicators on their Tracking Progress site – including editing the indicators provided through Vital Signs, as well as uploading any supplementary data.

The training begins with a demonstration of how to create themes for a site and how to use the SDGs as a thematic option. Users will then learn how to edit the indicators provided through Vital Signs, including choosing unique visualizations and styles, and developing a descriptions tab that will allow them to place the data in the context of their community. This section of training then concludes with a step-by-step demonstration of how to create new indicators and how to update existing indicators for future work.
