Sharing one’s story is a powerful way to engage and mobilize others in a movement. But talking about yourself and your work can be a daunting task. This session will build on the sessions to date, exploring themes such as:

  • Context: how to ground yourself in place and positionality.
  • Boundary Setting: what (and how) to share in a way in which you feel comfortable and in control
  • Creating a Narrative: how to capture and share key elements of your project
  • Catching the Wave: how to use the power of storytelling in service of your causeIn the session you’ll hear from masterful storytellers, and be provided with examples of powerful storytelling in social change work.

RSVP on Facebook to connect with other participants.

This session will be provided in both English and French, simultaneously. Participants will be able to pose questions in the language they are most comfortable.
