Today’s problems need more than yesterday’s solutions, and we need bold new thinking to help meet the challenges of the future. We need young voices at the decision-making table to help build strong and vibrant communities. Youth are creating positive change while also learning new skills, gaining experience, and building relationships across their community.
The RBC Future Launch Community Challenge engages youth, aged 15 – 29, in more than 150 small and mid-sized communities across Canada. In each participating community, youth and their local community foundations are teaming up to turn their bold ideas into reality. Learn more about the diverse range of projects, and their 200+ youth participants, being supported through the Community Challenge.
In addition to the Community Challenge, we are also proud to offer Youth Powering Community, an online learning community that supports youth on social change journeys. Together with RBC and Youthful Cities we are also hosting the FFWD2020 youth summit, a virtual conference on the future of work.
We've launched a virtual learning community for youth driving change in rural and remote communities in Canada. The Youth Powering Community program provides free online learning sessions for Canadian youth looking to learn about social change and connect with like-minded peers.
