Andrea is an accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in the accounting field, mainly in the corporate sector holding a variety of accounting roles throughout her international career across various industries. In years, before joining CFC, Andrea had a two-year exposure to the non-profit, non-charitable sector at Payments Canada supporting their finance team. Andrea has a strong drive for “going the extra mile” to deliver the task beyond expectation both in her professional and private life.
Andrea’s professional career is very linear. She holds a Masters in Accounting and Auditing from University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia and has been working in the world of accounting and deadlines since then.
On the other hand, Andrea’s personal life was much more adventures as she relocated across three distant countries in the last two decades. She is grateful to have lived, studied and worked on three different continents (Europe, Africa, North America).
Andrea embraces global mindset and cultural diversity, and believes that learning about distinct cultures makes us more understanding and tolerant of differences (and similarities) in others, enriches us as humans and opens countless perspectives. She believes in the power of community, its importance and positive impact on the lives of others.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and preparing various international dishes, gardening, biking, travelling and spending precious time with her family.
