Blake comes to Community Foundations with an extensive background in Culinary and Hospitality. He is a graduate of Chef Training at George Brown College and studied Business Leadership and Management at Centennial College. Over the past ten years, he has worked and travelled gaining global experiences in kitchens across Germany, Ireland, Central America and the UK. During this time, he developed a passion for working with sustainable food sources and local communities. Blake has worked with organizations in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and São Paulo, Brazil that tackle issues of child trafficking, food waste, homelessness and at-risk youth. Being part of the LGBT community, Blake is a huge advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness and tackling stigmatization.
