Megan is a communications leader with experience across government, technology, and the
nonprofit sector. She began her career as a political staffer in Québec and worked at a public
relations firm before moving to Toronto in 2018. Fluent in French, English, and Chinese, with
basic proficiency in Spanish and German, she brings a deep appreciation for language and
cross-cultural engagement to her work.
She has led global campaigns that consistently highlight Canadian voices and perspectives, and
is a proud cheerleader for all things Canadian, at home and abroad. Prior to joining the CFC,
Megan led communications and marketing at the Empire Club of Canada, the century-old and
iconic forum for public discourse in Toronto.
Outside of communications, Megan has a strong interest in tech – particularly responsible and
ethical AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, and how technology continues to shape society. She has
a background in law and public policy and holds a Communications degree from McGill
University in Montréal.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new things and
staying busy.
