Mila is a dynamic and adventurous individual whose journey has taken her from the vibrant world of tourism to the meticulous realm of accounting. Born with a passion for exploration, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, where she cultivated a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and experiences. However, in 2013, Mila made a pivotal decision to shift her career focus to accounting, recognizing her aptitude for numbers and financial management.
Mila has worked in the accounting world for over 10 years, gaining valuable experience across various industries including retail, manufacturing, construction, and services. Her dedication and expertise culminated in earning her CPA designation in August of 2024, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey.
In 2009, Mila immigrated to Canada, embracing the opportunities and challenges that came with starting anew in a foreign land. Since her arrival, she has been particularly amazed by what Canada has to offer in terms of equality, especially for people with disabilities. The country’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, as demonstrated through various laws and initiatives, has inspired her and reinforced her belief in the importance of equal rights for all individuals.
Outside of her professional life, Mila is an avid volleyball player, enjoying the camaraderie and teamwork that the sport fosters. She also cherishes quality time spent with her family, often embarking on camping adventures that allow them to connect with nature and create lasting memories together.
