Miranda is an experienced communicator who uses storytelling as a tool for change, building movements, and bringing people alongside a shared mission. She has harnessed her passion for equity and justice to lead communications for political, fundraising, and issue-based campaigns.
Most recently, Miranda was Communications Manager at The Democratic Engagement Exchange, where she helped lead the launch of Canada’s largest non-partisan voter engagement campaign. She has five years of experience at Toronto Foundation, where she led digital communications for the #TorontoStrong Fund and Vital Signs Report. Miranda has a BA in Equity & Diversity Studies and Nonprofit Management from Ryerson University, and has cross-sectoral experience in post-secondary education, government, and nonprofits.
She is thrilled to be joining CFC, and to have the opportunity to champion power-shifting in the philanthropic sector.
On weekends, Miranda can be found entertaining friends with food and antics, like the true ‘theatre kid’ she is. If you can’t find her there, head to the lake.
