Raj is passionate about all aspects of community-building and creating equity and justice-based places. Over the last two decades, she has been involved in a diverse range of work and volunteering, from multicultural theatre to environmental organizing, anti-hate campaigns, cycling and pedestrian safety, and community film festivals.
Raj brings a wealth of community-engagement, partnership development and project management experience, most recently as the Great Lakes Program Director with the Canadian Freshwater Alliance (a MakeWay project). She is thrilled to be joining the Community Foundations of Canada and the Investment Readiness Program during this exciting phase of growth and evolution.
In her spare time, Raj enjoys cycling, kayaking, skiing, and anything that gets her outdoors. She’s also looking forward to being able to attend live theatre and music once again.
