Sarah has worked across both the non-profit and corporate sectors.
Before joining Community Foundations of Canada (CFC), Sarah was with the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen (CFSOS) for the last 9 years as the Manager of Grants and Community Initiatives. During her time she led many of CFC’s national programs, including ECSF, HCI and Vital Signs.
Prior to this work, Sarah has worked in communications and community investment in the corporate sector.
Sarah started in communications for both a for profit business servicing the charitable sector and landed in community investment which led her to managing the community investment portfolio for a major credit union in BC’s interior region. From there she went to work for the CFSOS before being seconded to CFC to lead the Community Services Recovery Fund.
In her spare time, Sarah teaches group fitness and spin and enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
