This session will begin with an exploration of key concepts pertaining to 2SLGBTQ+ communities, followed by an exploration of how 2SLGBTQ+ community needs span across all issues and sectors, including housing, anti-violence, gender-based and anti-poverty issues. The session will conclude with recommendations for strengthening relationships and engagement with 2SLGBTQ+ organizations and the communities they serve.
In bridging long-standing divides in power imbalances and inequities, community foundations need to move from intention to collective action on advancing equity and inclusion in policy, process and practices.
