Belonging is at the heart of building stronger communities and a more cohesive, inclusive country. It intersects with all aspects of community life and connects to some of today’s most pressing conversations, from inclusion of newcomers to reshaping the relationship between Indigenous Peoples and all Canadians to strengthening rural and remote communities.

A COVID-19 Statement from CFC, PFC, EFC, and The…

A statement from Philanthropic Foundations Canada, Environment Funders Canada, Community Foundations of Canada and The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples in Canada. With input from the charitable and nonprofit sectors, we’ve outlined five guiding principles to assist foundations in supporting their grantees through this time. We invite foundations across the country to adapt these to their context and join us in their implementation so that the organizations we fund can carry on their important work in our communities throughout and after the crisis.
