The Community Services Recovery Fund was a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support charities and non-profits as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery.
Charities and non-profits play a key role in addressing persistent and complex social challenges faced by communities across Canada. Community Foundations of Canada worked with community foundations across Canada and in collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross and United Way Centraide Canada to provide funding from coast to coast to coast.
The fund supports Community Service Organizations in adapting, modernizing, and recovering from the pandemic to continue their critical work of serving their communities. Projects concluded in June 2024, but the impact of the Community Services Recovery Fund will continue.
The application deadline for the Community Services Recovery Fund was February 21, 2023. Funding Results are now available.
